Electrical Product Engineer
(Ballston Spa, NY):
The Product Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and applies existing product designs to customer orders. This position is responsible for electrical product lines that may include but are not limited to motor starters, digital valve positioner cabinets, instrumentation panels, cables, fire protection panels and other industrial electrical cabinets. This position is also responsible for:

Reviewing customer requirements and applying product configuration

Be knowledgeable about applicable codes and standards to the product

Reviewing material requirements for sales orders.

Creating designs, including 3D models, drawings, manuals, procedures, and bills of materials.

Addressing product quality issues.

Using company document management system.

Creating and submitting customer documentation.

Creating and maintaining drawings to support production.
Minimum Required Competency:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology

Effective Communication Skills
-
Self-motivated
-
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

An equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and experience
